Shores of Panama!! Again!

So we decided to go back to Shores of Panama again this year after having such a great time last year. If you are curious what we did last year (since you probably don’t want me to just repeat myself) then go here to see the original post:

Shores of Panama Vacation!

This year we actually decided to get the larger condo:

Shores of Panama Vacation Rental – VRBO 146328

because my mom came with us. It was WONDERFUL! Three FULL bathrooms meant that three adults and two kids could easily get cleaned up after a relaxing day at the beach. We went in early May so before the season rates go up for summer and it’s not stifling hot. We could stay out all day long with a tent and really just enjoy being outside. As usual the kids loved the beach, the water, the awesome pool – and let me do a side bar here – the pool is AWESOME for people with kids. It has a walk in side so you don’t have to worry about the kids going in and out of the pool on the stairs and most people keep to that side of the pool allowing the other end to have a nice adult area. There is good music playing and a Tiki Bar set up right next to the pool. During the summer there is even a kid’s club so the adults can have a little quiet time.

We ate at Captain Anderson’s after being told by several people that we couldn’t leave Panama City Beach without trying it. It was very good and a bit pricey.

We walked over to Pineapple Willy’s who now have a “no alcohol can leave premise” rule so we drank our awesome drinks there and of course we went crab hunting at night. We cooked crab legs in the condo and all of us were exhausted by 10:00 and conked out. It was a great vacation and I’m SO glad I got to take my mom this year for Mother’s Day.

The Wal-Mart (right across the street!) has a huge AirBrush section

We attached these to our tent - they flew by themselves all day long

Let's get to the pool!

My little boy all tuckered out

They LOVED the pool

Crab hunting (Lots of girly screams that night!)

Gotcha!

Eric, Mom and I ate 8lbs of crablegs!

Of course we went Putt-Putting!

In trouble!

This was an awesome week at the beach with my family. It had been many years since I had enjoyed the ocean, sand and seafood. My two grandchildren are awesome even if they make me play WII games.
Our condo was great because of the three bedrooms and baths. Fantastic condo. Porter and Gracie advanced in their swimming abilities through the week. I love and appreciate my family. XX OO
